I traveled to the Porters Creek area in The Great Smoky Mountain National Park looking for a tunnel system that was found in 2019. The park service has mapped over 5 miles of tunnels so far but abruptly discontinued their search. Are the Feral People of Appalachia using these tunnel systems to attack people or hide in them?
