No one will ever leave here. The bodies are piling pound by pound. This place of prayer has turned to panic. Nowhere to go. The church doors are shut. People are smashed against pillars and beams. Covered in stained glass. Clawing each other. Hurting each other in the sign of pain. Strangled and crying. Churchgoers lay still. Crushed between the pillars and the walls, walls, walls, walls. Nowhere to go. The church doors are shut. People are smashed against wooden pews. Covered in stained glass. Cutting each other. The sign of peace has turned to the sign of pain. Nowhere to go. Nowhere to go. Nowhere to go. The church doors are shut. People are smashed against wooden pews. Steeple has fallen. The roof has collapsed. The crosses have cracked and broke. Crack. The cross cracks. The sign of peace has turned to the sign of pain. --- FUMING MOUTH are back! After years of uncertainty and dire circumstances, the revered and critically praised New England death metal perpetrators have overcome overwhelming obstacles to return for the long-awaited second, full-length album, Last Day of Sun, released on November 3rd, 2023 via Nuclear Blast Records. Following a devastating diagnosis of leukemia in late 2021, vocalist/guitarist Mark Whelan spent nearly a year battling cancer through chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, and emerged in remission in 2022. Now cancer free, the beloved frontman returns rejuvenated with renewed determination, perspective and creativity in a new lease on life and the band’s most crucial and ferocious record yet. Commenting on the record, Whelan says: “What started as a fictional concept album became incredibly real. I was facing certain death, but as I kept writing the album it’s theme became clear. You could die tomorrow. Seize the day.” --- #FumingMouth #Metal #DeathMetalChannel #DeathMetalClassics #MetalMusic #NuclearBlastRecords #NuclearBlast
