CRAYON POP was Hurricane Pop with Bing Bing

The group was initially named Hurricane Pop consisting of members Serang (Mari), Gummi, Ellin, ChoA and Soyul. Serang, a former leader of the disbanded girl group Coin Jackson, left the group to pursue an acting career. ChoA's younger twin sister Way, was then added to preserve the group as a quintet. The group was later renamed to Crayon Pop prior to their debut. Soyul was part of a short-lived K-Pop duo called Chic'6 Muscats before joining Crayon Pop.
