🇬🇧 In 1966, the children's book “Gena the Crocodile and His Friends“ by the writer and screenwriter Eduard Uspensky was published. On its pages, readers first met an inseparable couple and learned their story. A strange animal with huge ears came to the USSR in a box of oranges and found a true friend - a crocodile named Gena from the zoo. 🇷🇺 В 1966 году увидела свет детская книга «Крокодил Гена и его друзья» писателя и сценариста Эдуарда Успенского. На ее страницах читатели впервые встретили неразлучную парочку и узнали их историю. Странный зверек с огромными ушами попал в СССР в коробке с апельсинами и обрел верного друга – крокодила по имени Гена из зоопарка.
