Part of issue ON THE SPOT. Clapham Junction, London. A lion escapes from railway yard. Various shots of frightened looking lion crouching in corner of yard. A crowd of people watch from distance. Policemen and Home Guardsmen have lion covered with rifles. A policeman tells a little boy off for trying to poke a stick through the fence of the yard. Various shots of people looking out of windows of railway carriage. Eventually the lion is caught. A hole is broken in fence and a trap placed against the hole. The lion creeps into the trap, probably tempted by food.
