Circa 1870s – 1880s. ‘En tremblant’ (means ‘to tremble’ in French), is the name for antique floral brooches which were designed to have the flower heads tremble, when worn. This very elaborate and large brooch is an excellent example of aristocratic jewelry of the height of the Victorian era. The brooch is crafted in silver and 14K gold and is set with sparkling old mine cut and rose cut diamonds.
