The song “Goeiemorgen, morgen“ represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1971. It was sung by Jacques Raymond, who had participated in 1963, and Lily Castel. Originally meant to perform the song was the duo Nicole & Hugo, who had won Canzonissima 1971, the Belgian national final for Eurovision that year. However, Nicole fell ill, and apparently was going to be replaced by Micha Marah, but Hugo didn't want to sing with anyone other than Nicole, so BRT (the Belgian broadcaster) drafted in Raymond and Castel. “Goeiemorgen, morgen“ ended up 14th of 18 participants at the Eurovision Song Contest 1971.
