This is one of our really old blues songs that we thought we would re-introduce by making a video for it. It was recorded live in 2001 at JBR Studio in Essex. Featuring Stu Cooper on drums, Bob Bampton on bass, Joe Murphy on Hammond organ and Paul Killington on guitar (incidentally, Paul was playing an ancient Gibson SG once owned and played by Joe Cocker). 'Long Time Dyin' It's over, now it's dead n' gone Ain't comin' home to me Now the day is done It would be easier Just to let it go But that don't mean a thing When you're all alone And it's a long, long time Long time dyin' Can't help it If I think of you While I'm just sittin' here What else can I do? And it's a long time Long time dyin' I can't help wishin' I was strong I can't help wonderin' Where you've gone, yeah Cos if you knew how much I need yah baby Then you'd come back here, yeah Where you belong, oh yeah Where you belong, yeah Won't make it If it ain't with you What kind of life is this What am I livin' through? It's a long, long time Long time dyin', ooh yeah And I wonder Am I gonna fall apart Oh I'm not gonna make it through With this empty heart Yeah it's a long, long time Long time dyin' Yeah I wonder, on this rocky road Will I, will I find you, take off this heavy load Yeah it's a long, long time Long time dyin' Let me tell you Let me tell you baby Let me tell you what I'm gonna do If I find you, Lord I'll make it up to you Cos it's a long, long time Long time dyin'.... © Maria Daines/Paul Killington 2001 New CD album, Blue ~ Our thanks to the amazing photographers at Pexels for their wonderful film clips. #Blues #liveblues #bluesmusic
