Egypt slams EU ruling on human rights record

The EU has demanded the unconditional release of Egyptian political activists and social media influencers, saying Cairo has not progressed enough to improve the human rights situation in the country. RT spoke to a political science scholar who says Brussels is trying to interfere with sovereign Egyptian laws, despite the EU having plenty of its own cases that could be considered human rights violations.
