Harris Pelonis studied classical guitar in the National Musical Academy of Athens with Dimitris Fampas (student of Andres Segovia) and he finished his studies with unanimously superior grades. He attended seminars given by well-known professors like: , , , , ,, and others. He has given many recitals in Greece and abroad and he has participated in many concerts and recordings in the State-owned Radio and Television. In 1993 he participated in the International Festival of F. Tarrega in Spain and Recorded live in the Spanish Radio, gaining enthusiastic reviews from the Spanish Press. He recorded a disc for plays with two guitars, in co-operation with the guitarist of Los Paraquayos, Mr Julio Jara. he teaches in the National Musician Academy since 1985. In 1996 he published a book with the title 30 Classic Latin Songs for Guitar, from Andromidas editions, with arrangements of the most remarkable Latin American songs, with great rewards
