A fact that already brought him the professorship for jazz singing at the Hochschule für Musik “Franz Liszt“ in Weimar 20 years ago. His experience as a singer ranges from soul and jazz projects with musicians such as Joe Sample, Klaus Doldinger or Paul Kuhn to numerous guest appearances with renowned big bands throughout Europe. The likeable singer from the german Ruhr region has also shared the stage with pop and rock stars such as the “Fantastischen Vier“, Ute Lemper and “Guano Apes“. At Christmas, he will be a guest of the Frankfurt Radio Big Band once again - and “swing“ you in the mood for the winter holidays. There is also another special guest to welcome as a speaker. A living Hessian acting legend: Walter Renneisen. ------------------------------ Auch wenn der Name eher einen US-amerikanischen Künstler anzukündigen scheint, Jeff Cascaro ist eines der deutschen Ausnahmetalente unter den hiesigen Jazzsänger:innen. Eine Tatsache, die ihm vor inzwischen 20 Jahren schon die Professur für Jazzgesang an der Hochschule für Musik “Franz Liszt“ in Weimar einbrachte. Seine Erfahrungen als Sänger reichen von Soul- und Jazzprojekten mit Musikern wie Joe Sample, Klaus Doldinger oder Paul Kuhn bis hin zu zahlreichen Gastauftritten bei renommierten Bigbands in ganz Europa. Auch mit Pop- und Rockgrößen wie den Fantastischen Vier, Ute Lemper oder Guano Apes teilte sich der sympathische Sänger aus dem Ruhrpott bereits die Bühne. An Weihnachten ist er ein weiteres Mal bei der hr-Bigband zu Gast – und “swingt“ Sie auf die Feiertage ein. Außerdem gibt es als Sprecher einen weiteren besonderen Gast zu begrüßen.
