Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: The world's largest plane made its second test flight on April 29, 2021, above the Mojave desert in the US state of California. Nicknamed “Roc”, the aircraft is designed to provide easy access to space for hypersonic vehicles launched from the plane while it is in flight. It is being developed by Stratolaunch, a company founded in 2011 by the late billionaire Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft Corp. Stratolaunch was sold into private ownership in late 2019 following Allen's death. The carbon-composite carrier aircraft has a 117-metre (385ft) wingspan, and can climb to altitudes of 35,000ft (), according to Stratolaunch.
