For more game music-related content from me, check out: A really neat thing in Odyssey that I decided to over-analyze for fun. Not gonna lie, I got WAY too excited when I first picked up on this. Such a small thing, but the fact that they programmed it to work with every tune in the game for many different sound effects is really nuts. I'd love to know how they went about implementing this, or if there are other sound effects in the game I missed that do it. If anyone has any insight or other ideas, feel free to share! Not sure what the phrygian mode is?
