“Козият рог“ / “The Goat Horn“ (1972) is considered by many one of the greatest Bulgarian films. I upscaled the film to 1080p with machine learning and cut a few glitchy frames. I also included English subtitles so that the film reaches a bigger audience. I personally think (this line is speculation, not a published fact) “The Goat Horn“ served as an inspiration for Andrei Tarkovsky's “The Mirror“ (1975) because of the similarities between the two films on the philosophical and allegorical level: the dual roles concept (wife/daughter and mother/wife), as well as the main allegory (which is quite more “hidden“ in “The Mirror“) representing the same idea - judging yourself/others leads to suffering and not finding forgiveness in your heart may ultimately fail you (when you become the villain yourself).
