Crosspost from A talk from the beginning of December about the project's progress. Abstract: Are neural networks able to understand neural networks and what does this mean? In this talk, I will introduce my own workflow on an fNIRS dataset to get machine learning models to understand and classify thoughts themselves. We'll dive into what that specifically means, how the brain might want to do it, and why we would ever use neural networks to do this instead of e.g. multilinear models.
