This is the first part of the almost 200 kilometer long steam ride that we filmed from the German BR 23 023 of the Stoomstichting Nederland. Earlier this day, we have brought hundreds of passengers from Rotterdam to Arnhem. While they were visiting the Arnhem Open Air Museum, we drove to Beekbergen, where we turned the locomotive at the depot of the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij, took water and topped up with coal for the return journey. In this film you can see how we drive the train back to Arnhem from the depot.
