Trance's glory days have long since passed, but there are a few OG artists that are still going strong. Activa proves with “Polestar“ that his signature sound hasn't lost that fresh energy that made him a star in the 2000s and 2010s. The melody is simple, but specially design to hit all the right spots. It doesn't have that generic “modern spacey trance“ feel, which I appreciate, and the kick isn't so pronounced that it makes your ears bleed (a blight on the current uplifting scene).
