This is taking longer than I expected

It's the beginning of the end! Sills are up for my timber frame project. I was hoping to get all four floor joists done today, but I only got two completed. Yes, there is a crack. No, it's not big enough to matter. Why the curved cut? Because it's stronger than a lap joint with an interior 90 degree angle. The 1908 house has several cracked floor joists that split at the interior 90 and I want to avoid that with the porch. Don't worry, folks, I used an adze for the rest and it went more quickly. #timberframe #timberframing #woodworking
