2.2 kW PLL SSTC CW

Just finished up this coil, haven’t had any time to tune primary. Haven’t meassured current but trips 10 amp breaker every other time I apply power. So at 220v its around 2.2 kW. Circuit is a modified version of Steve Conners ( ) most excellent circuit. Modifications include 16V 2200uF caps (all I had on hand, overkill though :P) on the UCC drivers in parallel with the 1uF tantalum caps and modifications to the PLL circuit for wide frequency selection (in this case from
