The only televised broadcast of Derek and the Dominos features original band members Eric Clapton on guitar/vocals, Bobby Whitlock on keyboards/vocals, Jim Gordon on drums, and Carl Radle on bass guitar (died May 30, 1980, age 37). The group performs Chuck Willis' blues-rock song It's Too Late live from their only studio album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (not the Carole King classic). Eric Clapton formed Derek and the Dominos in 1970. They appeared on the Johnny Cash Show that year.
