On the West’s destructive desire for maintaining its monopoly Both Russia and an overwhelming majority of countries are indeed trying to strengthen the spirit of international progress and strive towards sustainable peace that has been the core for development since mid past century. A very different thing is at stake: the monopoly of the West that emerged after the dismantling of the Soviet Union, that was acquired for a time during the end of the 20th century.
