Hello Operators. In this episode of OH8STN ham radio we are testing Chameleon CHA RXL. The Chameleon RXL is a receive loop antenna for shortwave listening LF, MF and HF bands. Yes it does look like a magnetic loop antenna, but this one is different. In fact, the CHA-RXL is a shortwave receive loop antenna covering 137khz to 30Mhz. We will test the RXL as a stealth multipurpose shortwave LF, MF & HF antenna Equipment used in on testing - Chameleon CHA RXL - DX Patrol SDR - HDSDR Software - FLDigi This setup is used to decode NAVTEX, SITOR, Weather Fax ( HF Fax ), RTTY Marine WX forecasts, monitor WSPR on 2200m and more. The Chameleon RXL joins a long line of active receive loop antennas used in Shortwave radio listening. Antennas like the Wellbrook, the 73 Julian oh8stn
