Former NBA star Andrew Bogut has claimed Australian athletes have been muzzled from speaking out against federal and state governments’ handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. Bogut also claimed he snubbed an offer to appear in a paid public service announcement encouraging people to stay home, stating “I refuse to do that s**t”. The influential ex-Boomers veteran has repeatedly shared his opinions on lockdowns and other Covid-19 measures in recent months, and unleashed on the weekend in a searing Instagram video.
