LOCATION: Filmed on location in the Sacred Ancestral Home to the Cahuilla Indians. The Indian Canyons (Andreas Canyon). Andreas Canyon: The Andreas Canyons is the Ancestral Home of the Paniktum Clan (known as the “People of Daylight”) of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The Indian Canyons are home to Andreas Canyon, Murray Canyon and Palm Canyon, and they are especially sacred to the Tribe today. The Agua Caliente people have thrived here for thousands of years. Palm Canyon is considered the World’s Largest California Fan Palm Oasis. We encourage everyone in the Southern California Area to spend the day here. We feel fortunate to have been granted permission to film on these lands, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
