Welcome to today's video :) This time we restored an old kerosene lamp. A kerosene lamp consists of several parts: It consists of a cast-iron base, a kerosene tank, a flat wick holder, a regulation wheel, a glass cylinder and a lampshade. The first thing that lit up since prehistoric times was fire. Each of us likes the light from the fireplace or from the fire in the garden :) If we leave aside the various period lighting, we will find that the predecessor of the electric light was the just mentioned kerosene lamp. Kerosene lamps became widespread in the 19th century.
