Welcome guys thanks for joining me again in this update. I hope you're all well. So guys, the third fight with Tyson Fury against Deontay Wilder took place on October 9, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This bout, often referred to as the “Trilogy Fight,“ was highly anticipated due to the dramatic and contentious nature of their previous encounters. So the crazy first with Fury getting up like the Undertaker after Wilder knocked him down. And also the controversy surrounding Fury's flimsy glove in the second fight. So the main problem with Wilder was that whenever you saw him in difficulty he didn't really have any options to adjust to them tactically. Like he couldn't fight on the back foot, he didn't have a good lead hand, no head movement or sound hand defence and no real inside game. Even in this fight against Tyson Fury, early on when he was throwing jabs to the body, if you take a closer look at Wilder you could see that he was still struggling to implement the basic technique of throwing jabs to the body. He was uncomfortable performing this basic move. There were no feints, no speed or rhythm changes, no initial moments of deception... just a straight-up direct attack to the body. But you can't develop these nuances to your game in a matter of weeks to months during your training camp. As they should already serve as the fundamentals of your foundations as a boxer. But I mean fair play to Wilder because I don't know of a boxer that could literally go against the grain how he did. I know you guys remember the saying that goes “In boxing your right hand can take you around the block but your left hand will take you around the World“ But guys I have to say Wilder's right hand gave him the career he had, and provided for him and his family; I know his daughter required some financial support for some of her treatments, so there's that to consider ...and for that reason, I have to say that his right hand did take him around the World. So I have to say his right hand was remarkable. Now guys Tyson Fury had the right gameplan in this fight when it came to his weight and how he used it against Wilder. I think these are some of the aspects of Fury's game that are completely absent in Wilder's because Wilder's is primarily centered on his Right hand. Fury's approach to a fight is a bit more diverse and I think this is due to some of the tools he possesses. It just allows him to experiment a bit more in training and thus perform with a bit more freedom in the actual fight. Now with the weight you could see Fury holding after throwing his combinations. Obviously, this will smother Wilder's response but also Wilder has to take the weight of Fury imposed upon him. So essentially it will help tire Wilder out. You could also see Fury attacking Wilder's body when they were up close and personal. So this will add to depleting Wilder's stamina. In this fight, Fury could focus on boxing, working on the inside and also taking steps to mount his attack once Wilder was fatigued. Now at the end of this year, we can look forward to Tyson Fury and Usyk going up against each other in another head-to-head fight in their rematch for throne at Heavyweight. This should be in Saudi Arabia on the 21st of December. But this time it won't be for the undisputed crown as Usyk will vacate his IBF belt so that Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua can fight for it at Wembley in September. Now if Usyk manages to beat Fury twice as he did with Joshua, he will go down as a true hall of famer.
