This is monitoring seismic activity in Indonesia. What is EWS/EEW? An Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) system acts like an early alarm for earthquakes. It's a network of accelerometers, seismometers, computers, and communication devices. Its purpose is to swiftly detect the initial seismic waves during an earthquake and promptly alert nearby areas before the more damaging waves hit. This gives people the crucial seconds to take protective measures like dropping to the ground, seeking cover, and holding on. It's important to note that EEW differs from earthquake prediction; instead of forecasting when an earthquake might occur, it provides rapid alerts during the actual event. What it the quality (S, A, B, C, D)? The quality rating (S, A, B, C, D) indicates how confident GlobalQuake is in its detected earthquake. High quality (S, A) means accurate detection with correct location, depth, and close magnitude. Lower quality (C, D) suggests less accuracy, and the displayed location may differ significantly from the actual earthquake. The data displayed here may not be accurate, for many reasons, to be sure always check the official information from: * * * For Volcano Stream, visit: For international Earthquakes (Global), visit: @jakubspanger6892/live Data provided: * BMKG * GEOFON * Malaysian Meteorological Service * Singapore Seismological Network * Thai Seismic Monitoring Network Program: * GlobalQuake () * OBS Contact: hi@ Note: If this live stream is offline, that means there might be a power outage at my house.
