Several dozen Americans have been evacuated from Haiti on Friday, March 22 as the security situation in the country continues to deteriorate. On Thursday one of the gang leaders fighting for power in Haiti’s capital was killed, as political groups say they are close to agreeing a transitional council that can take over running the country, after the prime minister resigned last week. The U.S. State Department has been flying citizens to the neighboring Dominican Republic. CGTN’s Nick Harper has more.
