On “My Car Story“ we're in the Suburbs of Phoenix AZ on 4-1-22. We're looking at a 1970 American Motors AMC Mark Donohue Javelin SST in Bay Shore Blue Paint. The car comes with the factory 390 CI V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Dan Curtis is showcasing his Customers car after his Company restored this car. There were only 2501 of the “Mark Donohue Javelin SST” produced from American Motors Corporation and this one of them. Dan shares when he was young he was introduced to an AMX and the speed impressed him. He was hooked to the American Motors Brand, and has had many American Motors performance cars. He has a restoration shop for American Motors Corporation cars with many hard to find parts.
