ABOUT THE ALARM CLOCK In this video I will be restoring a Vintage West German Alarm Clock. I bought this clock on eBay from a seller in Pennsylvania. I was looking for something unique to restore that would challenge me. After doing some research on the internet I was able to find out that this Alarm Clock was manufactured by a company called “ad*lf Jerger K.G.“ who made travel clocks and alarm clocks since 1905 and went out of business in early 1995. ABOUT THE RESTORATION This was my second official restoration. The disassembly went along pretty smoothly, until I noticed that the clock wasn't made out of brass but brass coated steel. My original plan was to polish the brass parts but then I had to change it to plating it Gold. I also experimented with powder coating for the first time!
