Marine One arrived tonight to take President Biden off to Joint Base Andrews and a flight to Wisconsin, and I was out in the ridiculously windy twilight hours to capture it on my camera as best I can. You’ll see the President’s helicopter arrive (no decoy aircraft this time—odd) and then you’ll see Marine One depart, after about 12 minutes on the ground. NOTE: FROM MINUTE 3 TO MINUTE 15, BASICALLY NOTHING HAPPENS! I took so much flack last time for ‘cutting’ out this boring part that I decided ‘what the heck, if someone wants to watch, I’ll let them.” So you see a helicopter sitting on the White House lawn for about 12 minutes. Occasionally you might see someone behind the helicopter, or a car go by on the street, or maybe even a jogger pass the camera, but basically, it’s pretty boring and I had to mute the sound because the wind noise was just awful.
