“ In accordance with the Guidelines for Industrial Cooperation until 2030 within the EAEU, its member states recognise nuclear technologies as the priority for the development of industrial cooperation. Today the Union countries have accumulated considerable experience in terms of developments, science and technology expertise, projects in non-energy application of nuclear technologies, launching innovative production of radiopharmaceuticals, creating modern nuclear medical centres, equipment for the nuclear industry and the needs of nuclear medicine. This round table discussion is designed to highlight the competencies of the EAEU member states in the application of nuclear technologies in various industries, to present their major achievements, projects, and products to identify the potential and areas for the development of cooperation within the EAEU. Matters for discussion: major achievements and developments of the EAEU member states in nuclear and radiation technologies; industrial cooperation potential of the EAEU member states in nuclear technologies, identification of promising areas for cooperation; opportunities for using the EEC financial assistance mechanism of industrial cooperation in the implementation of joint projects of the EAEU member states in nuclear technologies; opportunities for the development of cooperation between the EAEU member states in nuclear medicine: production of radiopharmaceuticals in the EAEU member states; Russia-Kyrgyzstan project of nuclear medicine centre in the Kyrgyz Republic, prospects for development in the EAEU; Russian project of MBIR multipurpose research reactor as an opportunity for the development of scientific and technical cooperation of the EAEU member states; the expedience of establishing a Eurasian technology platform in the field of nuclear and radiation technologies as a tool to stimulate industrial cooperation.“
