Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, in its orbit, as far as we know, there are 67 satellites, most of which are strangely shaped rock massifs, most likely asteroids like Amalthea, captured by the planet's powerful gravitational field. However, the four largest moons of Jupiter are large and dense enough to form spherical bodies. They are called Galilean moons, after the great Italian scientist and astronomer, Galileo Galilei, who discovered them in 1610. #solarsystem
