Simion Galeș, Vasile Lăzărean, and Petru Lăzărean are three Romanian shepherds that use the blowing longhorns to communicate in forests and over long distances, as it was used for thousands of years. The longhorn (bucium, trambita - long trumpet) is a long wind instrument, similar to the alphorn. It had been used as a herding call in Romania.
