Titles read: “Caught By The Camera“. Various locations. Several shots of men working on a huge building site in the valley of Murcia, near the Circus Maximus in Rome, Italy. A new road is being built through the valley, and we see the men digging up trees and moving them to be transplanted elsewhere. We then see a novel one-man-band played in a nightclub (?) by the inventor of this 'Victophonium', Mr Shepherd. He sits playing a drum kit and blowing on a tuba (there are several other instruments attached), and accompanies a gramophone record. People dance as he plays. C/U of a clock face shows the time at one o'clock. Various shots at Paddington railway station in London; good shots of steam engines. We see that goods wagons are hauled by by electrically driven capstans here, as smoke and sparks from the engines are considered harmful to goods.
