Battle Wheels: A Cinematic Saga - RT Documentary

This is the story of two creative individuals, Maria, a director, and Natalya, a screenwriter, who set out to make a film about a historical reenactment club for wheelchair users. Both film school graduates, they dream of putting their skills to the test. However, they struggle with a major plot challenge – giving the club members a compelling goal, such as participating in a festival. But the reenactors are content simply engaging in battles with their swords, with no interest in formal events. Maria and Natalya’s efforts to elevate the story with a grand objective continually fall flat – either the costumes aren’t historically accurate enough, the chosen era is incorrect, or there isn’t enough rehearsal.
