During the global financial crisis Ukraine suffered badly. In fact, last year it was among the world's worst economic performers. As if that's not enough, it's now taken on the dubious mantle of the “sex capital“ of Europe. It's becoming a hub for child pornography: ““they bring in not just women, but 13 or 14-year-old girls - that happens all the time,“ says hotel security man Sergey.
