Somali teens shoot fireworks at cops on July 4

A group of Somali-American youth descended on Minneapolis to celebrate July 4 in the manner the city has become accustomed to: shooting fireworks directly at cops and blowing their own hands off. Several incidents were reported in a night of explosively colorful violence that police at one point deemed a full-blown ‘riot,’ which the teens documented themselves and put on the internet, as is the current fashion. The most viral of the videos involved a crowd shooting fireworks at police and anyone in the general vicinity, which resulted in one arrest of a 17-year-old and the rest scarpering before they could be apprehended.
