The early 2000s was the wild west for pop culture and Pixar's latest release, Turning Red, captures that time period perfectly. Turning Red follows a 13 year old Toronto native, Meilin as she takes on the 8th grade. Which sounds hard enough until she learns she turns into a giant red panda whenever she has an overload of emotions.
