‘Gravity’s Law’ is a short film by Matt McDermott based on a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke. He was drawn to The Barbican Centre and estate because of its otherworldly quality and achieves a sense of calm with his long freefalling shots against the brutalist architecture How surely gravity’s law, strong as an ocean current, takes hold of even the strongest thing and pulls it toward the heart of the world.
