Strikes on aviation engine manufacturing and energy infrastructure facilities in Zaporozhye On the night of August 29 to 30, 2025, Russian forces launched a massive strike on industrial and energy facilities in Ukraine. The operation involved sea- and air-launched cruise missiles “Kalibr“, Kh-101, guided missiles Kh-59 and Kh-69, Iskander-M/K complexes, as well as over 500 Geran-2 strike drones. The main targets in Zaporozhye were aviation engine manufacturing enterprises and a key power grid directly linked to the production cycle and testing of aviation power units.
