24 HEURES DU SPA 2019. Night Practice. Prior to the race weekend itself there are 3 practice sessions held. One of these sessions is supposed to be at night. The temperature at the race track drops and air becomes colder - which is good in terms of durability of the race car’s tires... but a shift from a day to night may become quite difficult for an amateur drivers. The race track at night seems to be completely different from the one a racing driver drives at day time. It’s just a perception though... There is an insane concentration required in order to maintain your pace and be precise through the corners. The video was recorded from a camera installed on the helmet of the driver - David Pittard. The lap in it’s own right is very good and really fast. The most famous corner of this race track is Eau Rouge. It is taken flat out by a BMW M6 GT3 as the race car has an incredible amount of downforce as per GT3 category standarts.
