In this video BMW explains how to charge your Plug-in Hybrid or Electric Vehicle. Your electrified BMW can be recharged with various charging cables. The charging cable used for charging at a domestic socket can be carried in your luggage compartment. Charging at an AC charging station requires a special charging cable. This is available as optional equipment or provided by the AC charging station itself. The charging current for charging at a domestic socket can be adjusted in your vehicle. Make sure that the permitted charging current of a domestic socket is established by an electrician. To change the charging current select - My Vehicle - Plan charging/climate control - Setting charging current. Now your vehicle is ready to charge.
