A real life story so sketchy-it turned into a 2018 movie starring Matthew McConaughey. “White Boy Rick”, a film based on a supposed teenage drug King Pin in 1980’s Detroit, surrounding the life of Richard Wershe Jr. who was a 14 year-old FBI informant in his hometown, at a time Motown was seeing ravaging effects of drugs in the city. Now at 52 --Ricky is free after serving 33 years behind bars after a drug bust found him with eight kilos of cocaine at just 17 years old. He is suing the FBI for $100 million for child abuse and endangerment, among a host of other allegations.
