In a Southern California coastal community of Carlsbad in 2016, Keiko paints an agricultural landscape with a windmill. As the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, she captures that special atmospheric quality in her quick plein-air watercolor painting. Mostly self-taught, Keiko Tanabe embarked on a professional art career in 2005.
