Iran’s military held a large-scale drill involving some 200 drones on Tuesday, amid ongoing tensions with the West over its arms and space programs. As part of the drill, the drones appear to capture footage of an unidentified warship in the Indian Ocean. Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, who oversaw the drill, referred to the ship as an ‘extra-regional vessel,’ a term largely used to refer to American vessels, but did not give more details. The admiral hailed the successful drill, saying that ‘this shows how capable our reconnaissance drones are.’
