In a factory in Chongqing, China, tens of thousands of clean energy vans sit abandoned, covered in a thick layer of dust, rendering their original appearances unrecognizable. Recently, aerial footage has surfaced of vast grassy fields in Hangzhou littered with thousands of clean energy vehicles. Some of them are so buried that only their rooftops are visible. Over the past few years, there has been a surge in these abandoned clean energy vehicles across various regions in China, ranging from a few hundred to tens of thousands. These so-called “graveyards“ not only mar the landscape but also represent immense waste and environmental pollution. #chinaev #electricvehicle #chinaeconomy #chinaobserver All rights reserved.
