The band was formed in 2010 and consists of Iseula Hingano (vocals), Dean Edgecombe (guitar), Chris Williams (bass), and Anthony Shortte (drums). Lead singer, Iseula Hingano, was awarded Female Artist of the Year in the 2013 Victorian and Tasmanian Blues Music Awards. Since the May 2013 release of their debut album, Sleepin’ Alone, Blue Eyes Cry have gone from strength to strength. They have performed at some of Australia’s biggest music festivals including Blues on Broadbeach, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Gympie Muster, Apollo Bay Music Festival, Bay of Islands Festival (N.Z.), Blues at Bridgetown, and Sydney Blues and Roots Festival to name a few.
