President Putin’s answer to an American student - on history, present, and future of the relations between the two countries Vladimir Putin held a Q&A session with participants of the World Youth Festival in Sochi, Russia. Addressing a question asked by a young delegate from the U.S., President Putin said that since the collapse of the Soviet Union, U.S. elites have failed to make good use of their monopoly as the single global superpower. Moreover, the vast majority of countries in the world, including the U.S. allies, do not like this monopoly. But these countries have been forced so far to remain silent due to their heavy dependence on the U.S. in the economic, political, and media spheres. The president also highlighted the growing resistance to the established world order. InfoDefenseENGLISH InfoDefense Source: InfoDefenseENGLISH
